gem5-X

gem5-X

gem5-based simulator with architectural extensions

gem5-X extends the gem5 full-system simulator with architectural eXtensions targeting heterogeneous many-core platforms, including custom memory hierarchies, power models, and hardware accelerator integration. It enables design-space exploration and optimization of HPC and embedded systems at the microarchitectural level using C++ and Python.
